WALT: Write a persuasive speech that encourages the listener to agree with my opinion.  

Tōku whanau

WALT: introduce our whanau in te reo.

we had to draw pictures of our family and write their names up top.

 

Heath persuasive sentences

 WALT:Use prompts to construct sentences to persuade my audience to agree with my opinion.

we had to use sentence starters to try and pursued that my options is correct.

it was hard to right but easy to think about what I was going to write. next time I try to do more.

WALT: evaluate the actions of a character in a narrative story. 

We studied characters from narrative stories to make this

 

Reflection: we read books to make this.

Vocabulary

WALT -  build vocabulary knowledge by reading a range of poems

 

REFLECTION  - By doing this mahi I learnt that verbs are things that people do. I think it is interesting that nouns can be an animal,person,place,thing. 

Prototec Results

 WALT: Prototec - Know our basic facts off by heart and identify which problems you are having trouble with.

We are learning our Basic facts off by heart by using a program called prototec. I am currently on stag 4.

Reflection: I am good at all of the answers but I need to practise my timing.
